64 - 68 Mustang Values

 Mustang Values 1964 - 1968

We have taken reference from the well respected NADA values guide & added Import costs etc to provide equivalent values here in the UK.

Value Explanations

Prices shown are retail consumer values and to be considered as selling prices. P/ Ex  values are to be determined by local dealers and are generally lower than values shown.

'Fixer Upper' Value
This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning. The exterior paint, trim, and interior would show normal wear, needing only minor reconditioning. May also be a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. Most usable "as-is" but not necessarily having a current MOT.

Note: This value does not represent a "parts car / project car".

'Daily Driver' Value
This vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. It is reasonable to expect a period correct but not necessarily matching numbers engine to be fitted.

'Show Class' Value
This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. It is reasonable to expect a matching numbers engine to be present at this level.
Note: Show Class value does not represent a "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle *.

* "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concourse judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate regulated facility. Examples such as this are rare in the UK & in our opinion Show Class Values could quite easily be doubled & more in such examples.

Value Added By Options

Some options are considered highly desirable & for the following options it is widely regarded that 10% should be added to their respective values for each;

Air Conditioning , 4 Speed Manual , Pony Interior.

Items such as Power Brakes , Power Steering, Front Disc Brakes & period correct 'Factory Option' wheels also add to desirability & value.

Factory High Performance Models

We suggest that 20% to 50% be added on to respective values for Hi Performance models including genuine GT examples.

Investment Potential
Historically 60's Mustang values typically increase 5% annually.

We have compiled this as a reference guide only, no offer of value or responsiblity is made to any particular vehicles market value.
